Still trading under its own name
Whispir is a Melbourne-headquartered enterprise messaging and workflow platform, taken private in a 2023 to 2024 takeover by Soprano Design. As of September 2026 it has not been folded into Soprano's own product: whispir.com still runs its own marketing site, blog, sign-in portal and support pages, now carrying the co-branding "Whispir: a solution by Soprano" rather than a rename. No public statement commits to, or rules out, a fuller merger later.
Like Soprano, Whispir sells to enterprise and government customers on negotiated pricing rather than a published per-message rate, so there is no Australian dollar figure to compare here against a self-serve gateway.
