Notifyre sells SMS on a flat pay-as-you-go basis rather than a ladder of volume bands. The SMS tile on its Australian pricing page reads 5.00c per SMS part, in Australian dollars and excluding GST. The FAQ on the same page carries the same starting figure, and no bulk band appears anywhere on the site.

The embedded estimator holds that single price across every volume option it offers. At one thousand parts a month your bill comes to $50. At fifteen thousand parts it comes to $750, and this site places the provider 6th on price at that volume among the 21 providers that bill in Australian dollars and publish a rate there.

Inbound SMS is free.

Other line items change the real cost. A message splits into multiple parts once it passes the standard part length, and each part bills at the flat rate. MMS to Australian mobiles costs more per message than SMS does. A dedicated virtual number costs $17.50 a number per month, plus $25 once-off to port a number in. The same page lists an MMS add-on at $2.50 a month per number and separately states that MMS sending is coming soon in Australia. a month, and a shared system number is offered with free replies for a short window only. Sending needs a wallet top-up before anything goes out. The estimator stops at its top volume option, and larger senders are told to contact sales for a quote. Price is only half the picture, so the sending features come next.

Notifyre features for Australian senders

Notifyre publishes a REST API for sending. You authenticate with an API token sent in an x-api-token header, generated under Settings > Developer. Official libraries exist for .NET and Node.js. Delivery receipts are pushed to your URL, and replies are pushed to your URL as well.

Email to SMS is published too. Each sender address is mapped to a gateway address that combines the mobile number and your account ID at notifyre.com. You add sender addresses under Settings > SMS > Email To SMS, and each must click an emailed verification link before that link expires. The subject line is optional and serves as the message ID, or campaign name, in dashboard reports rather than as SMS text.

The web app accepts recipient uploads in CSV only, not Excel. CSV columns can feed into the message as merge fields. You import the file under Contacts > Import, assign it to a contact group, then enter the group name in the To SMS Number field under Send > SMS. MMS goes to Australian mobiles under a per-message file size cap. Sender types include a dedicated number, a shared system number and an alphanumeric sender ID. Those sender types run into the register rules, which the next section covers.

Notifyre sender ID and the ACMA register

ACMA's approved list for the SMS Sender ID Register does not list Notifyre under its own name. Its terms name Notifyre Pty Ltd as the operator, and no entry on the list matches that name or its website. The provider may register sender IDs for you through a listed partner, and the list cannot show whether it does.

You can register a sender ID through Notifyre only where it stands behind a listed partner, so ask it to confirm that path before you commit your sending to it. The register question settled, the service record comes next.

Notifyre support and reputation

Support runs Monday to Friday during Australian Eastern Standard Time business hours, not around the clock. Phone, live chat and email are the channels. Support hours, channels and multi-part billing are published on the pricing page, which is more than some rivals publish.

The provider claims 99.99% uptime claimed; no SLA document, credit schedule or remedy is published uptime for its Australian SMS gateway, which connects your business to local carriers. No published SLA or remedy sits behind that figure. Notifyre states it holds ISO/IEC 27001 certification across its organisation and its cloud fax and SMS service. The company traces its origins back to 2000. Its Trustpilot profile holds 12 reviews at 4.3, with none posted in the last twelve months. Service tells you how it treats you, and fit tells you whether to choose it at all.

Look elsewhere for high-volume sending, round-the-clock support or an SLA behind an uptime promise. High-volume senders are told to contact sales for a quote, Excel uploads are not supported, and the public review record is thin. A provider with volume rates and after-hours support will serve those needs better.
